Roman Silver Coins from the Michael Kelly Collection
Ex: Spink Numismatic e-Circular 1 - Part I - Ancient Coins featuring the Michael Kelly and Nomos Brasiliana Collections Lot 214. February 13 2020.
I like coins with provenance so I was very happy to add this one from the Michael Kelly collection. This coin was struck very early in the reign of Vespasian in Ephesus. I really like these coins from Ephesus. The portrait style is unmistakable and interesting.I really like this portrait. The style is undeniably that of Ephesus.
I hope that this will not be the last Ephesian denarius of Vespasian that I will add to my collection.
